I have been visiting Chandra Shekhar Hospital since 2 yrs. But suddenly in May 2025 when I did HbA1c analysis for my diabetes they gave the result of 9.3 which was shocking. Also their FBS showed high. I tested with my glucometer before going to their lab. It was about 55% high. I am 30 yrs diabetic and use to control my sugar fairly, keep checking regularly and maintain a log book. To clear my doubt I gave the sample to another lab & they gave me correct results and the HbA1c was only 7.5. During consultation when I made my point to Dr.Sumanth, he told me not to complain to him. He said that he also doesn’t trust their lab results (!) and asked me to complaint to their lab. See, how the hospital joking with the patients? Is there any logic of complaining to the lab which made wrong analysis? I complaint to the hospital admin. But they were not apologetic till date. I spent extra Rs.550 to outside lab to counter check their results. Who will pay my loss? I am highly qualified and longtime diabetic hence I could take right step but imagine innocent people who trust this hospital procedure? A doctor definitely would criticise the patient based on these kind results and prescribe high dosage of insulin. Imagine the stress the patient will be subjected to. I have lost confidence in their lab. Drs are relaying on their own laboratory tests. If their own lab analysis is not reliable how their treatment be trusted? I advise people to be alert and not blindly trust the treatment given by any hospital. In case of shortage or non-availability of any specialist the hospital sends to any available doctor that may not be their speciality. I heard 2 doctors discussing about this.

In another hospital which is also famous in Hosur , I went with a complaint of piles. It could have been treated with antibiotic. I took antibiotic and the swelling gone. But the doctor still asked to me to go for surgery & fixed the date for surgery. I avoided going on the surgery date. Now nearly 2 yrs I have no piles issue. So I stopped going to that hospital which is opposite to the Govt Hospital and has branches including one in Chennai where Kalaignar got treated. So it’s better people apply their mind when they go to any hospital. For these hospitals money is important, service & ethics are not. Many Drs are working for commission.

I have experienced one shameful incident happened with me in Chandra Shekhar Hospital by their male radiologists. I don’t want to mention in this open form.

Further I found their Diabetic package included eye checkup. That lady doctor’s room is always locked. In my subsequent visits I asked the management team to return the money they collected for the eye checkup. They returned just Rs.50. Can we get an eye doctor’s consultation for just Rs.50? I found that in recent times they removed this item . But one should understand how much money they would have collected from other patients for years on this item ? Also they don’t give discount for medicines bought there. Outside you get 10% -20%.

I strongly suggest to avoid going to this hospital. Many doctors are inexperienced. God only save our innocent public.
